Four Eyes and Six Flags

Callahan got her new glasses this week. 

She is beyond thrilled!

After Patton took me to the movies last week, the kids decided they wanted to see it too. So everybody paid their own five dollars to go to a second showing of the Mario movie. Matt was confused where the plot was, the kids (especially Callahan) loved it, and I got a good nap in the comfy reclining chairs.

My cute niece randomly sent me this sweet note and my heart was so happy.

This weekend I got to chaperone Patton’s school band field trip to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. This was the first roller coaster we saw and the last roller coaster we did. It was so fun hitting all the biggest rides! 

Next time I go to an amusement park, 

I will bring Tylenol. 

And a younger body.

My poor head…

I slept 13 hours when we got home.

Patton and I are over on the left. 

It really was SO much fun!

We had a group of kids who were with us most of the day, but by the end they had all kind of scattered around and it was just me and Patton, which was the best.

I spent a lot of time looking like this while shepherding middle school boys.

The school paid for all our food. 

We ate well.

It was a good day! Patton is an amusement park beast!
