A Week With A Lot of Video Clips
Cinco de Mayo by Kennedy and Callahan. I walked in and the house was all decorated, Coco was on the TV and chicken tacos were being made. Yay for kids who know how to party!
I am having a midlife crisis, so I got a perm.
Before.
During.
My midlife crisis has increased 😂
But actually, I’m loving it. This was just how the lady at the salon did it. I usually just let it air dry and it’s much less…intense.
I pulled over on the side of the road one day to document the wildflowers. It’s like this everywhere you go. Texas Hill Country is pretty.
Callahan and I decided to risk it and planted our garden before we put a deer gate around it. Literally 10 minutes later these guys were in our front yard. The next day we had a huge wind and hail storm. So far our garden is still hanging in there. We’ll see how long it lasts.
The girls and I spent one thousand hours giving our car a good deep clean and then taking pictures of it.
Anybody want a super awesome car? We have absolutely loved this thing but we are trading it in for less 4-wheel drive (not necessary down here) and more gas friendly (very necessary down here).
Smoothies to keep us fueled while we cleaned. We all discovered that for all the hype Boba gets, nobody likes it.
Patton landed the lead in his school play, “Shakespeare Goes to Gravel Gulch” It’s a very comical play, and even more comical when the beginning acting class at the middle school puts it on 😂 (Because we moved in the middle of the school year Patton had to settle for whatever theater they had available).
He stole the show! Probably because he was the only character who remembered all his lines, haha! But really, Patton has a presence on the stage that is so dang fun to watch!
Callahan released her tadpoles this weekend. I think the one survivor that made it is really happy out there in that river, but he’ll probably need lots of counseling to recover from his childhood trauma.
I caught Maddie red-handed drinking/eating out of the tadpole bucket. She was unremorseful, as was every other animal who drank/ate Callahan’s frog children.
All mothers have to cut those apron strings sometime.
And speaking of mothers.
Mother’s Day was great! I have the best babies and husband. I have the best mom. I have the best mother in law. I am a lucky girl.
This “La Spa” in “La Bedroom” was a true experience. I fell asleep for an hour afterwards.
I made our family go on a hike/short walk up a hill after dinner for Mother’s Day. Bennett was there for it.
One last video to round it out. I’m not sure what this is, but I found it on my phone and edited it down to 30 seconds for you instead of the full four minutes that it was. Your loss.
Have a happy week!
