Last and First Week of School

 These are in the most random order. Sorry. I’m tired and I don’t care 🥴

Kennedy graduated from 5th grade! She got the Hawk Award for her awesome positive attitude.

Bennett’s last day of his Junior year. He’s a SENIOR now!

He also woke up three minutes before he had to leave for school, so he was not thrilled at my photography.

Callahan’s last day of third grade. FOURTH GRADE is going to be great!

Last day of fifth grade, and last day in the elementary school. On to SIXTH GRADE in the MIDDLE SCHOOL!

Last day of eighth grade! Moving up to HIGH SCHOOL as a FRESHMAN!

Callahan graduated from Third grade with the Bookworm Award. Which is fitting. I think she’s read several full book series this year, including the Harry Potter series and the entire Wings of Fire series.

Tripp rides with us every morning and many afternoons to drop the kids off and pick them up. He is very sad the school year is over.

Kennedy was in a skit and a dance for her fifth grade talent show.

Lining up exactly with the kid’s last week of school was Matt’s first week of Police Academy.

Matt’s first day of school picture. Taken at 4:00am because that’s when he leaves the house every morning. He gets home around 7:00pm, cannot use his phone at all during class, and studies from 7:30-10:30pm. This course is like completing law school in a six month time period and it’s nuts. While he is going to school full time I am the breadwinner starting a new business. And the kids are home from school for the summer. We. Are. Tired. But we are going to do it! Six months from now we will be happy this is behind us and benefiting from the sacrifices we are making now. I have to keep reminding myself of that 😅
