Maimie and Pop Visit!

We were so lucky to have Maimie and Pop come visit us a few weeks ago! They came at a crazy time when the kids were just barely out of school and Matt was just barely starting Police Academy and I was just barely starting working full-time. But they were troopers and helped to make that insane transition so much easier!

Sunday. Mary and Wayne had fun getting to visit with some of their old friends since they lived in this area before moving to South Dakota a few years ago.

We played lots of games. Many of them ended with arguing 😂

Kennedy wrote a note for me on a napkin and left it in my work bag. The kids have really stepped up with this move and it’s cool to see. They are pretty incredible.

Matt was pinned at Police Academy as…something important. I can’t remember what and he’s not home to ask. But basically he was nominated to help run the class in some way. He was unexcited but willing.

In-N-Out before going to see the new Michael Jackson movie. It was so good!

Kennedy puppy-sat for a group staying in our guest house one day. Maimie helped Kennedy make this little pink bandanna for her to wear. They also modified the curtains in the girl’s room and they are so cute!

We completed 3 1/2 puzzles during our down time. We love puzzles (The easy kind. With 500 pieces or less. If it’s harder than that we hate them.)

Last day with Maimie and Pop! We love them so much and hope they come back soon!!
