More Firsts

Matt built his office desk from a beautiful pecan slab that was being sold at the bottom of our street. The guy said he cut the tree down not 10 miles from here. Pretty cool.

On Saturdays the boys help out around a property doing chores. Wood splitting this last weekend. They had a blast!

WE GOT OUR TABLE!!! I’m super excited to finally eat as a family again instead of hovering over a counter.

LOTS more to do, 

but looking more like a real house every day!

Plenty of painting going on. We will have a house full of professionals by the time we are done.

Our dishwasher hasn’t worked since we’ve been here (TOMORROW IT GETS FIXED…hopefully) but the kids have been great about helping out to get the dishes done. We are all REALLY excited for tomorrow.

The kids got to go in the LDS San Antonio Temple to do proxy baptisms. It was Kennedy’s first time and her excitement was contagious! Callahan was a trooper and waited in the car (life of the youngest)

Bennett baptized both Patton and Kennedy and Matt helped confirm them all. I was there to watch and help Kennedy in the locker room. It was a really special night.

Kennedy told me she loved how good she felt inside the temple. She can’t WAIT to go back ❤️

They actually held up amazingly well.

Kennedy got to tour the Middle School and choose her classes for next year. She is excited!
