Two Weeks
Covering two weeks today.
Kennedy continues to occasionally make me and her delicious breakfasts. I love that she loves to serve.
There is no picture for this, but I thought it would be worth mentioning that I spent roughly 167 hours on the phone last week researching and then getting everyone set up with new primary care providers, dentists, optometrists, orthodontists (Patton and Callahan), OBGYNs (me), a medication specialist for Kennedy (so dumb 🙄), a dermatologist for Bennett, and then making sure our insurance played nice with everyone, getting a new pharmacy set up, and getting all of our old offices to send everything over to our new offices. It was eventful. Thanks for being proud of me.
Patton and I were supposed to go to the the showing of TPOT 21 (it’s a YouTube thing we’ve been watching together) but he was out of town the day our tickets were for, so Callahan got to come instead. She had no idea what was going on, but it was a great night anyway with lots of sweet BFDI YouTube weirdos all in one room 😂

Matt and Patton flew back to North Dakota to finish getting the rest of our barn/garage stuff loaded up before closing, and then drove it back down to Texas.

It was good for Patton to see his friends again. He’s been struggling the most with this move.

Officially Texans now 🥲

Patton living the roadtrip dream.
Eating like men.

Unloading the U-Haul back in Texas. This was actually a terrible day that I never want to relive, but we made it. Emotions ran high.
We went to Buc-ee’s for lunch after unloading the U-Haul. This is a gas station. It is wild.
Literally the best gas station lunch ever.

This is a fun picture. Bennett and I decided to take his truck through a car wash on a Saturday evening. I was driving. There were about 20 cars behind us in line, I’m not even kidding. We were at the very front about to drive in the wash when his truck just completely died. Dead. As a door nail. Nothing. It took six car attendance to figure out a way to push us out of the line with no power steering while all 20 aforementioned people in line recorded us with their cell phones. After they pushed us to the side, we called Matt and he told us to jiggle some wire and it started right up. Needless to say, we did not get the car washed that day.

Kennedy and Callahan randomly decided to do a photo shoot that made Callahan look like she was suddenly 23 years old and works at a Hard Rock Cafe.

Lots of sickies this week. Tripp was a good support.
Every one of us except for Matt has spent time at some point this week looking like this. Just a cough/cold deal, but no fun and several days of school missed.

I got to go with Kennedy to young women’s to decorate cookies and play games on Wednesday night.
She’s a cutie ☺️
