Valentine’s Week
We cross this river every time we go anywhere, so we finally drove down to it and played around a little bit today. Both girls ended up falling all the way in.
We drove through Austin at one point this week and Kennedy was super excited to see where Spider-Man lived đŸ˜‚ Buildings taller than two stories are still a huge novelty to us.

This was actually a really rough week. That cold from last week followed us into this one and I got it pretty bad. I don’t remember most of the days, but I slept a lot and the kids were still alive when I woke up, so I think we made it.
Apparently our girls will clean anything if I tell them they can use my phone to record it happening in fast motion

Madi taking advantage of all the windows and doors being open and sneaking inside (The weather is so beautiful right now. I am writing this outside sitting under a huge oak tree in a short sleeve shirt and listening to the birds).

Youth temple trip for these three. Bennett drove them in and out of the city and they stopped to get milkshakes they paid for themselves before coming home. I was asleep on the couch dying, so I’m glad they could take care of themselves đŸ˜…

Callahan has started taking an interest in her hair (!!!!!!) Blowdrying and styling it BY HERSELF is an exciting new phase of becoming less feral.
Doing a good job!
Patton’s’s band had a practice concert for this big competition they have coming up so we went to watch. They sound pretty good, but Patton is annoyed because they put him in the sixth grade band. I guess that’s what happens when you move halfway through your eighth grade year.
They played three songs and Patton played lots of different instruments in the percussion line, but I could only see him when he was on this one.
Handsome guy. He doesn’t think he’ll continue Band next year, so I’ll take it while I can
